With a roster of over 500 contracted clients across the Yorkshire region, and across industry sectors such as leisure, industrial, healthcare, education and Landlord and letting agent managed residential properties, the RFS team has grown in recent months which is testament to our firm’s leading presence as a commercial repair and maintenance provider in Yorkshire.
Natalie Dalgleish has joined our team as Office Administrator and we are currently recruiting for a Sales and Marketing Administrator. In addition, we have also recruited an Apprentice HVACÂ Engineer, Daniel Hibbard.
Much of this development is down to Katie Challis, who was promoted from Service Manager to Director in 2017 and has overseen the development of new and existing business. To complement these key staff changes, Robinsons Facilities Services have also recruited additional highly-skilled, highly-qualified and highly-accredited engineers, to cover the Yorkshire area and to implement the company’s standards of excellence across the multi-skilled disciplines of commercial boilers, heating, air conditioning, electrical and plumbing assets.
The recent examples of rapid expansion at Robinsons Facilities Services is not simply in personnel, as the firm has also won a series of large planned preventive maintenance (PPM) contracts in recent months including a five year agreement with a Local Authority
The Benefits of Planned Preventive Maintenance
Robinsons Facilities Services offer a leading planned preventative maintenance (PPM) service. PPM is cost-effective for a business because it reduces the chance of unplanned breakdowns, production losses and health and safety breaches. It also enables a business to control budgets and spare parts availability and ensures that assets are always running at optimal efficiency, which ultimately keeps your utility bills down. Research conducted by an international property management firm showed that for every £1 spent on maintenance there was up to a £5 saving in breakdown and repair costs.
Flexible PPM agreements can range from 12 months to five years, but ultimately provide 24/7/365 cover and dedicated access to unrivalled expertise.
Assets such as commercial boilers and air conditioning units are increasingly important to a business, and not simply in terms of a financial investment. Key building assets are integral to a business because their functioning is often fundamental to vital processes, as well as being important to the employees; to their morale and productivity, and to the basic welfare duties of an employer and to services provided to visitors and the public, where applicable.
